JR Troyer….. the timber industry has been the heart of my life since I was 17 years old….being employed in a family sawmill in the Midwest..moved to Northwestern MT…in ‘92..my first job as an employee building log homes ventured in the his own log home company (Clearwater Log Structures) for 25 years….. suffering from shoulders and knees from the physical demand that is required from the labor of the handcrafted operation. the passion of log building was passed on down to my two sons are taking over the log home building.

JR formed another company called Troyer Lumber. our distribution yard is at (Tri-Pro Forest Products) in Oldtown,Idaho. We direct all our lumber loads there for the final patterning of the boards. We purchase kiln driedlumber from mills and lumber distributors…… currently we have reps scattered in the Northwest selling our lumber online.

We have 7 children…. we are part of a Mennonite church…… Church and family are high priorities our life…..
